I started painting when I retired in 2013 and started writing poems in 2016.  Before that I was a scientist and lawyer.  Making the switch from left brain activities to creative right brain activities was the best decision that I ever made.

​

Today, most of my work focuses on people in unusual settings and people from my travels.  I am always eager to attempt a new technique or style.  So far my public exposure is limited to local art shows, including the Freshworks Pleasanton juried show, where I have had some success.

​

My poems are short and most have a Christian theme.  I also enjoy the humor of exploring an unusual turn of phrase or idea.
