        But after a bit

I quit

    Creative juices flow

        But as the path rises

My energy subsizes

 

Auspicious prospect

    Ideally suited

        Minor snag

Exit bagged

 

Flawless objective

    Assured return

        Unfortunate twist

Again I’m pissed

 

Accomplishments nada

My gravestone proclaims

Fame never in sight

 

He’s finished alright
